YOU MUST BE PLAYING ON A U12 INDOOR LEAGUE TEAM TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SELECTION TO THE ALL-STAR PROGRAM.
The program delivers a performance environment for the "Committed player" and is delivered at the Indoor Soccer Complex in Stratford.
PLAYER ASSESSMENT AND SELECTIONS:
Individual players will be identified at their U12 league games through the fall and will be invited to attend one training session a week Jan-Apr. Identified players will still participate with their U12 teams in the league. Additional players can be invited out to training sessions as identified by technical and coaching staff throughout the winter.
The All-Star program delivers five key components:
Technical development (passing and dribbling)
Principles of play (possession/defending)
Mental (competitiveness and learning more about the game)
Physical development (Coordination, balance, speed and agility)
Tactical (small sided games -3v3/5v5/7v7)
U12 Players are also eligible to sign up for our U13 Provincial Program Assessment phase which runs Saturday and Sundays Nov-Dec.
*If you are selected to continue training with the U13 program you can still continue to attend U12 league games. You can also choose to not continue with U12 program and only attend U13 Provincial program.
