Congratulations, Joelle!

PEI Soccer is delighted to announce that Joelle Bader has been selected to join the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite Academy, an official Canada Soccer National Development Centre (NDC). The program hosts the top women’s prospects from across Canada to attend school, train and play together in Burnaby BC.

 

Joelle took part in the Whitecaps Showcase Event, and was identified as the only player in Atlantic Canada to be invited to the NDC tryouts, before being selected to move full time to Vancouver in September 2024.

 

Joelle started her soccer career at Sherwood Parkdale Rangers Soccer Club (U11 and U13), and continued her development in the PEIFC Program at U15 and U17. She was part of the U15 team that won a silver medal at Club Nationals in 2022. PEIFC offers a High Performance environment for the top players in PEI, and competes in the Nova Scotia Soccer AAA League at both age groups.
