The winner will be selected by a committee identified through the PEI Soccer. Submissions must be made in writing to PEI Soccer within the time lines specified for the Annual Awards.

Guidelines:

1. Skill
An all around player who keeps trying to meet his/her potential. Not necessarily the best goalie, top scorer, etc. A Player showing great desire to perfect his/her skills.

2. Dedication
A player who displays outstanding dedication by consistently attending practices, games, etc.
A player who displays an interest in being involved with different aspects of the game, i.e. taken coaching courses or referee clinics. Consideration will be given to the fact that players who play all game, every game, usually are the ones who keep coming to all practices and games.
However, it must take more dedication to be faithful to your team when you are not a starting player.

3. Sportsmanship
Player who plays the game for the game itself. Player who continues to play as well as he/she can even though they may be dealing with unfair decisions by coaches, referees, etc. Player who can
accept a loss in a gracious manner on a regular basis. Nominators should take into consideration cautions and send-offs, shaking hands after games, etc.

4. Support

a) Marking and lining fields - not all the time but not just one time either - willing to do when needed or requested.
b) Banquets - helping in setting up chairs, tables, cleaning up after, etc.

g) Coaching - player who coaches or helps with a team on a regular basis.
